Building in Spokane
Spokane projects are governed by the Washington State Building Code, which is adopted and amended by the Washington State Building Code Council rather than by Idaho's code cycle. The practical differences owners notice most are in the energy code and in permitting process, so an Idaho comparison is rarely apples to apples.

The Washington State Energy Code sets requirements that affect insulation levels, air sealing, ventilation and often heating equipment selection.
